This award is open to salons, freelance barbers, and mobile barbers who are passionate about their craft and eager to showcase their talent. Once you have submitted your application form, our panel of judges will assess each application carefully. If you are successful in being shortlisted for the finals, you will be notified via email within 30 days.  Finalists receive a digital finalist badge and a personalised digital certificate to download, print, publish, and frame.

The Judging Process
The judging process begins with the internal panel assessing the entry forms and supporting evidence. There is a scoring system for each element of the form and evidence. Some of the criteria considered in the judging process include evaluating the content provided in the application form, assessing website content (including accessibility), visible qualifications, images of work, industry achievements, and considerations of equality and diversity. Our panel’s scoring and final decision-making process are kept strictly confidential, as is the disclosure of third parties and the number of entries in specific categories, to ensure fairness and legitimacy (so people don’t falsify information to achieve higher scores). After entries close, the panel shortlists the entries, and the shortlist is then reviewed by the final judge. The final judge assesses the forms and evidence once again and selects the winners for their own reasons (final industry expert judges do not work directly for the BF Awards, so we can’t influence how they reach their decisions. This is deliberate to avoid internal corruption or unfair advantages). All entries go through several different people separately to ensure fairness. Once the final judge chooses the Gold winner, the Silver and Bronze winners are determined based on the panel’s scores. Beauty Full Awards judges are prohibited from discussing any entries before, during, and after the awards. If you do not hear back within 30 days of submitting your application form, unfortunately, you have been unsuccessful this time. All entry purchases are final, and no refunds will be given, whether successful or not, unless duplicate entries for the same title by the same person have been made.
